Step into the storybook streets of historic downtown Port Deposit as they transform into a sparkling winter wonderland. The Fire & Ice Festival is back and bigger than ever!
Cozy up in our glowing igloos each one twinkling with lights and furnished to enchant.
Wander through the vendor village, where local artisans bring treasures and treats to discover.
Create your perfect cup of cocoa at our whimsical hot chocolate bar—it’s on the house!
Toast marshmallows under the stars, then gather around glowing fire pits with family and friends.
And yes…there’s always a 100% chance of snow, no matter the forecast
This year, the magic expands—more vendors, larger igloos, and live music to keep the streets alive with energy and wonder.
Best of all? Thanks to our incredible partners and chamber members, igloo reservations, the hot chocolate bar, and s’mores kits are all free!
Reservations for igloos will be announced on our Facebook page, so keep watch, because they disappear faster than a snowflake on your mitten.

Fire & Ice: What to Expect
Last year, more than 1,800 guests filled the streets of historic Port Deposit and this year promises to be even bigger and brighter! Here’s a glimpse of the magic waiting for you:
Sparkling Igloos – Reserve your own glowing, furnished igloo wrapped in twinkling lights. Perfect for cozy gatherings with family and friends.
Vendor Village – Wander through a festive outdoor market filled with locally made treasures, treats, and artisan goods.
Hot Chocolate Bar – Craft your dream cup of cocoa at our free, build-your-own hot chocolate bar.
S’mores by the Fire – Pick up a complimentary s’mores kit and warm up by glowing fire pits under the winter sky.
Live Music & Entertainment – Let the sounds of the season fill the air as you stroll through a town transformed into a winter wonderland.
Snowfall Guaranteed – With a 100% chance of snow, you’ll step right into a storybook scene—no matter the forecast.

Getting here
From I-95 North or South
- Take Exit 93 for MD-222 North toward Port Deposit
- At the first traffic light, turn left onto Bainbridge Road (MD-222 West)
Follow MD-222 West toward Port Deposit. - Continue on Bainbridge Road for approximately 2.5 miles
- You will be in downtown Port Deposit, follow Main Street (222) through town and follow signs to find parking. There is ample Public Parking lots throughout town, all within a minute or so walk of our event.
